Officers from the National Police have arrested the managers of a nightlife establishment in Arona for an alleged public health crime following a police inspection.

The operation took place on June 13, when police officers observed that a venue located in the Las Verónicas area was operating clandestinely beyond authorized hours. After the managers refused to grant access, officers entered the premises, where nearly one hundred people were present.
During the search, various illegal substances were found, including cocaine, ketamine, crack, MDMA, and nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas. In addition to the drugs, a precision scale, distribution materials, and fragmented cash were seized.
The operation was supported by the Arona Local Police, who confirmed serious safety violations, such as blocked emergency exits. This situation posed a high risk to attendees in the event of an evacuation, leading to the filing of administrative reports regarding the detected irregularities.
