Motorcycle Accident in Arona Leaves One Seriously Injured, Passenger with Minor Injuries

A motorcyclist sustained a serious head injury and their passenger suffered minor injuries following a collision between a motorcycle and another vehicle on the TF-655, in the municipality of Arona, Tenerife, on Monday morning.

The incident was reported at 09:36 AM, according to information provided by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 112 of the Government of the Canary Islands. Emergency services were alerted to a collision requiring immediate attention on the aforementioned road.
The motorcycle driver, after being assessed by the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC), presented with a serious head injury. After being stabilized by medical personnel at the scene, they were transferred by a medicalized ambulance to the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria for specialized care.
Meanwhile, the passenger on the motorcycle sustained minor contusions. They were evacuated by a basic life support ambulance to Hospital Quirón Costa Adeje for assessment and treatment. SUC personnel with two ambulances and Guardia Civil agents responded to the accident site to manage the situation and control traffic.
