Agents of the Civil Guard have arrested a male as the alleged perpetrator of 27 continual burglaries with force inside vehicles in the La Tejita area, Granadilla de Abona.

The investigation began after noting an increase in vehicle burglaries, all following a similar pattern: carried out on weekend afternoons in crowded areas near La Tejita beach. The method used involved breaking one of the vehicle's windows to gain access.
Agents initiated surveillance and investigations that led to the identification of a vehicle and, subsequently, an individual with prior offenses for similar incidents. The evidence gathered confirmed this person as the alleged perpetrator of the 27 burglaries.

Citizens can file complaints electronically for five criminal proceedings and two administrative procedures.

The detainee, along with the compiled proceedings, has been placed at the disposal of the Judicial Authority. The Civil Guard reminds the public that complaints can be filed electronically through the Electronic Headquarters or the official website, as well as by phone or in person at their reference post, or via the AGE Appointment App.
