Binter has increased its flight offering between the Canary Islands during August, adding a total of 1,700 inter-island flights per week. This represents 64 more routes than in a standard June week, translating into an offer of over 125,200 seats per week, with an increase of more than 4,100 additional seats.
In total, during August, the company will operate over 7,500 flights between the islands, offering more than 559,000 seats. This schedule represents a 7% increase compared to the flight offering in 2025.
This reinforcement is due to the incorporation of an additional ATR aircraft to the inter-island program. The airline thus seeks to adapt its service to the mobility needs of residents and visitors, especially during one of the busiest periods of the year.
The routes with the most significant flight increases are the connections between Fuerteventura and Tenerife Norte, with 44 additional weekly flights (a 47% increase), and between Lanzarote and Tenerife Norte, with 42 more flights (a 35% increase).
Connectivity is also being expanded between Gran Canaria and El Hierro, which is almost doubling its weekly offering with 22 additional flights. Other routes benefiting include those connecting Gran Canaria with Tenerife Sur and La Palma, with 8 and 4 additional flights respectively, and between Tenerife Norte and El Hierro, with 8 new weekly routes.
Furthermore, during the summer season, Binter has reinstated the direct connection between Lanzarote and La Palma, with 14 weekly flights, and has launched a direct route between Fuerteventura and La Palma which will operate until early September with six weekly direct flights.
