The CajaCanarias Foundation resumes its Jazz Café series this Wednesday, September 16, with a performance by guitarist and composer Christian Cabrera at the CajaCanarias Cultural Space in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The concert, which has already sold out all its tickets, will begin at 7:00 PM. The event, inspired by traditional jazz clubs of the mid-20th century, will offer coffee and infusions included in the ticket price before the musical performance commences at 8:00 PM.
Christian Cabrera, a guitarist, composer, and independent artist born in La Palma in 1997, will present his debut album, Camino Las Fuentes. At 28 years old, the musician blends improvisation and jazz with elements of urban music and contemporary avant-garde, crafting a highly personal style.
His work features singable melodies, complex rhythmic passages, and electrifying improvisations, alongside the virtuosity of the full band. All these elements intertwine to create his first work as a composer and bandleader, a unique sonic experience that leaves a lasting impression.
Cabrera's creativity draws from both the impressionistic jazz of the sixties, with references like Shorter and Trane, and contemporary avant-garde influences from artists such as Guthrie Govan, Yussef Dayes, and Tigran Hamasyan.
