The incident, which occurred on April 30, involved the victim traveling from Tenerife after showing interest in a motorcycle offered for approximately 3,000 euros. The meeting was arranged in an isolated ravine area in La Aldea, where the officer was ambushed and assaulted by two individuals, one of whom was a minor, with the intent to steal his money.
The adult assailant was identified and arrested, admitting to the facts before the judicial authority. He has agreed to a two-year prison sentence for violent robbery, as well as paying a fine of 240 euros for a minor assault offense. Additionally, he must compensate the victim with 400 euros for injuries and 1,874 euros for economic damages, and comply with a restraining order.
The second person involved, being a minor, has been placed under the jurisdiction of the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office, which handles their situation outside the ordinary legal system. This plea agreement must now be ratified in the corresponding criminal court, which is the competent body for judging such cases.
