The incident occurred around 9:29 PM, according to information from the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 112 of the Canary Islands Government. Citizen alerts reported the crash, which significantly impacted traffic on the expressway.
Healthcare services at the scene attended to a 22-year-old male and a 70-year-old female. Both presented moderate injuries and trauma, pending complications. They were urgently transferred to the Hospital Universitario Hospiten Bellevue in basic life support ambulances after receiving initial treatment at the accident site.
The activated security and emergency response included the Tenerife Fire Consortium, which secured the damaged vehicles to prevent secondary risks. Civil Guard officers managed traffic and compiled the accident report to clarify the dynamics of the crash. Finally, the Road Conservation Service of the Cabildo de Tenerife intervened to clear the roadway and restore traffic safety.
