The tram service in Tenerife is modifying its usual schedule starting this Monday, implementing its summer frequency to align with the demand of the summer season.

Metrotenerife will apply these adjustments progressively, affecting only weekdays from Monday to Friday. Weekend and holiday services will maintain their uninterrupted operation throughout the night.
During peak hours on weekdays, Line 1 of the tram will run every six minutes, while Line 2 will have a frequency of 12 minutes. The public company, dependent on the Cabildo de Tenerife, plans to gradually revert to the winter schedule starting the first week of September.
Metrotenerife's summer calendar is divided into two main phases to optimize vehicle passage in the metropolitan area.
The first phase, running from June 29 to July 5, will see Line 1 operating with six-minute intervals between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Afterward, intervals will extend to seven and 15 minutes until midnight. Line 2 will maintain a 12-minute frequency during the morning stretch and 15 minutes in the afternoon.
From July 6 to August 30, the second phase will adapt the transport offering to the anticipated decrease in users during the holiday period. On weekdays, Line 1 will reduce its frequency to seven minutes, and Line 2 trams will run approximately every 14 minutes.
