Real Madrid's current president, Florentino Pérez, has announced that José Mourinho would return as the team's coach if he wins this Sunday's presidential elections, thus counter-programming his rival Enrique Riquelme's interview.

While Enrique Riquelme began his interview on the program 'El Hormiguero', where he promised to reveal his major signing for Real Madrid, Florentino Pérez presented his counter-offer: the return of José Mourinho as coach of the white team should Pérez emerge victorious in this Sunday's elections.
The current president's campaign has launched the slogan "MOUcha historia por hacer" (So much history to make), a play on words combining his campaign slogan with the Portuguese coach's surname. An accompanying video shows Mourinho, wearing a Madrid training jersey, stating "while on TV others talk and talk and talk..." and uttering a single word: "Yes".
Meanwhile, Riquelme appeared on the Antena 3 program wearing a jersey with his new signing's name and a notarized document guaranteeing his commitment to complete the acquisition starting Monday. At the time of writing, the identity of his signing had not yet been revealed.
