The measure, as explained by the Council, primarily seeks to encourage citizen participation in an event of international importance, such as the Pontiff's visit to Tenerife.

The Citizen Participation department is already planning this special arrangement, which will include defining routes, schedules, departure points, and a pre-registration system to reserve seats. All details will be communicated in the coming weeks through the digital platforms of the Granadilla de Abona City Council.
