La Laguna Tenerife hosts Barça this Sunday at the Santiago Martín arena (19:00 Canary time) with the firm intention of rediscovering their best game and staying in the fight for the Liga Endesa finals series.

Local coach Txus Vidorreta will have the return of Marcelinho Huertas, but will miss another key player, Aaron Doornekamp, due to injury.
The match began with a dominant Barça. After an initially even start, the visitors took control of the scoreboard, forcing Vidorreta to call a timeout three and a half minutes into the game with an adverse score of 4-15. The Catalan team's dominance was evident in all aspects of play.
Despite the efforts of La Laguna Tenerife, Barça demonstrated their superiority, particularly through Shengelia, who emerged as a key figure. The Catalan team made very few errors in attack, maintaining a significant lead at the end of the first quarter (16-29).
The second quarter continued with the same trend as the start, with Barça doubling the locals' score (18-36) with less than two minutes remaining until halftime. Although the exchange of baskets did not favor the Tenerife team (32-48), five consecutive points from Tim Abromaitis narrowed the gap (37-48), forcing the first timeout requested by the visiting coach, Pascual. These were La Laguna Tenerife's best minutes.
A three-pointer by Mills brought the home team even closer, putting them just seven points behind, but an immediate response from Barça sealed the score at halftime, with a 15-point lead for the visitors (43-58).
