The University of La Laguna is currently undergoing its pre-registration and enrollment processes for the upcoming 2026-27 academic year. As of today, the institution has already recorded 17,452 students enrolled in its undergraduate and double degree programs. This number is expected to increase in the coming weeks, particularly after the opening of extraordinary pre-registration at the end of August, which will offer 953 places across 22 degrees, and the resolution of 182 pending vacancies on waiting lists.
Of the 17,525 confirmed undergraduate enrollments to date, 3,970 are from the ordinary pre-registration process held in June, which concluded at the end of July. The remaining 13,482 enrollments are primarily composed of continuing students, meaning those progressing to their second year and beyond. This group also includes students from other institutions, both national and international, who have transferred their academic records.
The extraordinary pre-registration will offer 953 places in degree programs that did not fill their quotas after the ordinary call. Applications can be submitted from August 26th at 10:00 AM to August 28th at 2:00 PM. The process will feature a single list of place adjudications on September 2nd, followed by a waiting list that will be activated on September 9th.
The degrees offering places in this extraordinary pre-registration include Social and Cultural Anthropology; Technical Architecture; Fine Arts; Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage; Accounting and Finance; Economics; Spanish: Language and Literature; Classical Studies; Applied Francophone Studies; English Studies; Philosophy; Geography and Spatial Planning; History; Art History; Agricultural and Rural Environment Engineering; Civil Engineering; Industrial Chemical Engineering; Labor Relations; Sociology; Marine Technologies; and Tourism. These places will be available at the La Laguna campus as well as the South Campus and Adeje.
In addition to undergraduate figures, registrations for official master's degrees, specific university degrees, and doctorates will be added. The institution estimates that the total number of enrollments for the upcoming academic year will approach 22,000, maintaining the growth trend observed in recent academic years.
