The training program, scheduled for October and November, is specifically designed for students in the Pedagogy, Primary Education, and Early Childhood Education degrees. The initiative is also open to professionals in the sector who wish to acquire skills to improve the school integration of minors affected by oncological processes.
The proposal arises from the need to offer pedagogical responses to the physical and cognitive sequelae that may result from medical treatments. According to the institution, the prolonged interruption of school attendance requires specific protocols to ensure the child's educational development upon their return.

The curriculum will also address grief management and emotional support within the classroom group. The goal is to provide teachers with safe action strategies for critical situations, fostering a supportive environment within the educational center.
The agreement was promoted by the vice-rectorate for Teaching and has the direct collaboration of the Faculty of Education. In addition to theoretical training, the possibility of students carrying out internships at the organization to deepen their support for minors and adolescents is being considered.
