CD Tenerife fans are preparing for a massive trip to Ponferrada this Saturday, hoping the white-and-blue team will secure their promotion to Segunda División at El Toralín stadium.

The possibility of CD Tenerife achieving promotion this Saturday has ignited euphoria among its supporters. If the team secures a victory at El Toralín at 5:30 PM and Celta Fortuna fails to earn points in their match against Pontevedra (Pasarón, 3:15 PM), promotion will be irreversible. This situation has led to a significant mobilization, with over five hundred 'chicharrero' fans confirmed for the journey.
Tickets for visiting fans, priced at 15 euros, quickly sold out, filling sectors 5 and 6 of the stadium. Due to logistical challenges in reaching El Bierzo, supporters have chosen various transport methods. Four planes have been chartered, and nearly half of the travelers will have a layover in Gran Canaria. Flights will depart from Los Rodeos on Friday morning, heading to destinations such as A Coruña, Asturias, and Santander, from where fans will continue by rental car or bus.
High demand has saturated hotel availability in Ponferrada, forcing a large portion of the expedition to stay in three hotels in León: San Mamés, Riosol, and Quindos. Fan flights will be staggered, with departures from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Although the Federation of Fan Clubs had reserved up to a thousand spots, the final demand will not reach that figure, but there is still room for those who decide to join last minute.

The club remains cautious and has not announced any celebration plans. The team will travel to Madrid on Friday after morning training in Geneto and return on Sunday from A Coruña. If promotion materializes, the players will not go directly home but will join the fans to celebrate this milestone, although the club prefers not to discuss premature festivities.
