The series of educational encounters, #endiálogo, offers an open space for reflection and exchange, linking various disciplines with music. Sessions are free to enter until full capacity and are associated with concerts from the Contemporary Festival.
A total of six encounters will take place between September 21st and October 8th. Three of these will be held in Tenerife, covering topics such as astronomy, nature, and architecture, in collaboration with Museos de Tenerife and the Royal Canarian Academy of Fine Arts of San Miguel Arcángel.
The specific talk on Music and astronomy will trace the work of women scientists from the 19th and 20th centuries who contributed to stellar spectroscopy. These pioneers developed fundamental techniques and concepts still used today to determine the composition of stars.
The session will conclude with a presentation of aspects of the author's predoctoral research, focused on precisely determining the composition of the most massive stars.
