The Canary Islands Government's Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 112 received an alert on August 27th at 7:35 PM reporting the incident in the aforementioned park. After classifying the call, it was transferred to the relevant sectors for resolution.
The Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) dispatched a mobile intensive care unit and a basic life support ambulance. During the initial call, the SUC's coordinating nurse provided the alert caller, who included a doctor, with instructions to begin basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) maneuvers on the affected individual, who was not breathing.
Upon arrival of the medical personnel, advanced CPR maneuvers were continued, successfully reversing the cardiac arrest. The SUC team stabilized the 69-year-old man and transported him in critical condition via the mobile intensive care unit to the Ntra. Sra. de Candelaria University Hospital.
Meanwhile, the Local Police were activated by the 112 resource manager and collaborated in the incident.
