Two men engaged in a mutual fight in the illegal settlement of Los Vivitos, in Arona, Tenerife, last Friday afternoon.

An altercation between a resident and a visitor of the Los Vivitos shack settlement, in the South of Tenerife, resulted in a mutual assault. The events occurred on Friday afternoon, around 5:30 PM, when security forces were alerted.
According to the information, one of the involved parties, a 43-year-old man and resident of San Isidro, arrived at the settlement in his vehicle. The other protagonist, a 35-year-old citizen born in India, believed the arriving person intended to dump waste on the occupied land.
Following an initial verbal confrontation, the resident of the shack settlement threw a stone at the visitor, causing a minor injury to his left arm. Subsequently, the San Isidro resident caused a contusion to the face of the India-born man. Both injuries were classified as minor.
Officers from the Local Police of Arona attended the scene and proceeded to identify both individuals. This incident occurs days after police forces conducted an inspection of the illegal settlement, which is home to nearly a hundred people.
