The incident occurred at 3:19 PM when the Canary Islands Government's Emergency and Safety Coordination Center (CECOES) 1 1 2 received the alert. Red Cross personnel reached the accident site.
The man initially presented with a moderate lower limb trauma. He was rescued by a helicopter from the Emergency and Security Group (GES).
Subsequently, the man was transferred by a Canary Emergency Services (SUC) ambulance to the Hospital del Norte for medical attention.
