The election gala, scheduled for Sunday, April 26, stands out for a record number of registrations, exceeding expectations with twenty-six girls, six more than stipulated in the rules. This show, directed by Paula Álvarez with choreographic staging by Fran Romero, promises to be an artistic benchmark, with production by Yeray Piñero.
The traditional costume designers, such as Damián Rodríguez, Texenery Moreno Pérez, Lourdes Plasencia González, and Ubaldo Vestimenta Tradicional Canaria S. L., are key figures in the event, dressing most of the participants. The strong presence of murgas, cultural associations, and neighborhood groups among the sponsors highlights the vitality of the Carnival and citizen participation in Santa Cruz.
