Small plane crashed on a roundabout in Tenerife with fuel spill.

A small plane made an emergency landing on Thursday in the Amarilla Golf area, in San Miguel de Abona (Tenerife), subsequently crashing into a roundabout.

The aircraft, located just a few kilometers from Tenerife South Airport, landed on María de los Ángeles Ascanio Cullen street. The two occupants of the plane managed to exit the aircraft on their own. Although they initially showed no serious injuries, they were attended to by the Canary Islands Emergency Service and transported to a hospital for a more thorough evaluation.
As a result of the accident, there was a fuel spill. Firefighters from Tenerife responded to the scene, containing the leak by spreading foam over the affected area.
Local Police and the Civil Guard also participated in the emergency response, alongside the three ambulances dispatched by the Canary Islands Emergency Service.
