With over a decade of experience, this Canarian professional has found in fashion and acting a way to explore new facets and confirm that it is never too late to embark on a new career path, both within and outside the Canary Islands.
“"I never thought I would dedicate myself to this, but now I don't want to stop."
Initially, her foray into this field was almost accidental. About fifteen years ago, while accompanying her daughter to a modeling agency, an opportunity arose to participate in a job that required mothers. Although she initially hesitated due to shyness, she decided to try, and the experience proved rewarding, marking the beginning of her connection with fashion.
The transition to acting occurred similarly, when the same agency began sending her to castings for series filmed in the Canary Islands. After a role as an extra, a director noticed her potential and offered her a small scene with professional actors. This experience motivated her to train, combining her studies in acting, theater, and opera with her civil servant job, utilizing remote work to manage her schedule.
On a personal level, this new stage has been transformative. After a structured life, the world of fashion and acting has allowed her to get to know herself better, explore new facets, and overcome mental barriers. She believes that age, far from being an obstacle, is an advantage in a profession that demands diverse profiles, especially for roles of mature women. Her distinctive look, with long grey hair, has also worked in her favor.
Her career has led her to walk in prestigious events such as Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid and participate in national campaigns, providing her with opportunities to travel and achieve significant personal milestones. Her style, described as daring and experimental, reflects her willingness to explore without fear and to differentiate herself in the industry.
