The Tenerife Exhibition Center has completed the modernization of its roof, an initiative aimed at increasing natural light and energy efficiency, as well as enhancing the building's aesthetics and resilience.

The works, which began in June 2025, focused on optimizing the skylights, key elements for natural light entry. The main goal of this renovation is to reinforce the structural quality, functionality, and overall appearance of the venue.

"With the roof improvement, not only is safety guaranteed, but natural light can once again be a protagonist in events."

The work was carried out in several technical phases to ensure an optimal result. Initially, the old polycarbonate sheets covering the skylights were removed. Subsequently, the technical team performed a comprehensive cleaning of the glass and resealed all joints.
Finally, an advanced waterproofing system was applied, including priming and polyurethane layers. This treatment will allow the roof to respond more effectively to environmental conditions and weather-related wear, thus extending the structure's lifespan.
Despite the scale of the work on the large hall, the exhibition institution managed to adapt the planning to the event calendar, avoiding interruptions to regular activities and ensuring full operational capacity for the continuity of scheduled fairs and conferences.
