The boarding area of Tenerife North-Ciudad de la Laguna Airport was evacuated on the morning of Sunday, April 26, following a smoke incident, as reported by Aena.

The evacuation impacted both the ground floor, used for inter-island flights, and the upper floor, designated for national departures. This event led to “brief delays” in some flights, prompting passengers to check their flight status with their respective airlines.
Airport firefighters were dispatched to the scene to inspect the area and identify the source of the smoke. According to a spokesperson for Aena, the incident was related to the airport's ventilation systems, was not serious, and was quickly resolved.
