A woman, approximately 70 years old, has been hospitalized in critical condition after an accidental fall into a ravine in the municipality of La Laguna, Tenerife, prompting an emergency response for her rescue and medical attention.

The incident occurred this Monday, around 12:52 PM, on Piscis Street in La Laguna. The Canary Islands Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 112 received the alert, requesting urgent medical assistance for the affected individual.
According to the initial assessment by the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC), the woman presented with a cranial trauma. After being stabilized at the scene, she was transported by a medicalized ambulance to the Hospital Universitario de Canarias (HUC), where she was admitted in critical condition.
Due to the challenging terrain, 112 immediately activated the Tenerife Fire Brigade Consortium, whose personnel carried out the rescue maneuvers to evacuate the woman to the waiting medical team. Once in a safe area, SUC medical staff provided the necessary assistance before her hospital transfer.
Agents from the Local Police of La Laguna also participated in the operation, actively collaborating in the emergency response and taking charge of the necessary proceedings to clarify the exact circumstances of the accident.
