From the opening of the fair at 11:00 AM, the Plaza de San Pedro registered a constant flow of residents and visitors from different parts of the island, transforming the heart of the municipality into a hive of life, culture, and tradition throughout the day. More than 60 Canary brands diversified the offering, with a significant emphasis on products for men and children.
The Gastronomic and Agricultural Heartbeat captivated attendees. The increase in sales at the food and beverage stalls, compared to previous editions, and the warm reception to the guided tour of La Huerta Grande attest to this. The activities at La Huerta Grande, led by its director Julio Bernardo alongside the renowned content creator and primary sector influencer Nito Frutas y Verduras, gathered more than fifty participants interested in mountain produce and local flavors. This positive reception also led to full capacity at the subsequent live cooking show; an initiative by GMR (Gestión del Medio Rural) and VolcanicXperience that, in its I Edition, highlighted Km 0 products and the work of local producers in collaboration with municipal restaurants in "Cosechando en Altura”.
Innovative and inclusive offerings, such as those from the Rincón Vikingo, featuring sugar-free products suitable for celiacs and diabetics, were very well received during a festive marathon that around 20 established suppliers made possible until late into the night without any incidents. Numerous shaded and refreshment points, fully occupied throughout the event, ensured the comfort of families on a day with more pleasant temperatures than initially forecast.
The anticipated Musical Heartbeat painted the square white to welcome Vilaflor al Son, marking the start of a musical segment that extended the celebration until 2:00 AM with live music. A grand finale that crowned Vilaflor Late as the event for economic, tourist, and cultural revitalization in the highlands of Tenerife, concluding with a heart ready to keep beating in Vilaflor next year.
