The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has confirmed the weather forecast for this Friday in the Canary Islands, marked by the presence of light haze, variable cloudiness, and a rise in wind intensity in specific parts of the archipelago.

In the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, skies are expected to be mostly clear with some intervals in the south and west in the morning, evolving to high clouds in the afternoon. In the north, cloudy skies will prevail. Light haze will mainly affect higher and mid-altitude areas.
Temperatures will see a slight rise in higher areas, remaining without significant changes elsewhere. Values will range between a maximum of 25 degrees in Tenerife and a minimum of 13 degrees on the island of El Hierro. Winds will blow moderately from the north to northwest, with strong gusts during the early morning and, especially, late in the day on the southern slopes of Anaga, where occasionally very strong gusts are not ruled out.
For the province of Las Palmas, the forecast indicates cloudy skies in northern Gran Canaria below 700-800 meters, with clear spells around midday. In the rest of the island, the outlook will be mostly clear or clear, with cloudy intervals on the coasts in the morning and high clouds in the afternoon. Light haze will also persist in mid-altitude and higher areas.
In Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, a predominance of cloudy skies is forecast in the west, with clear spells at midday. The rest of these islands will be mostly clear, with intervals of high clouds in the afternoon and light haze. Temperatures will remain unchanged or slightly increase, with highs of 22 degrees in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and lows of 19.
Winds in the eastern province will blow moderately from the northwest, increasing in intensity to strong intervals on the east and west slopes during the latter half of the day. Aemet warns of the possibility of occasionally very strong gusts late on Friday.
