Fuencaliente Hosts Seventeenth Health Walk

The free event, promoting healthy habits and nature contact, will cover 9 kilometers in two and a half hours.

The Fuencaliente de La Palma City Council has organized the seventeenth edition of the Health Walk, a free activity taking place on Sunday, April 19, promoting well-being and connection with nature.

The initiative, which will start and finish at the Town Hall Square, invites citizens to cover a total of 9 kilometers in approximately two and a half hours. The main goal is to encourage an active and healthy lifestyle by enjoying the natural environment.

"This initiative reflects the City Council's commitment to the well-being of our neighbors, offering healthy leisure alternatives that also highlight our landscape and natural heritage."

For his part, Juan Joel Hernández, Sports Councilor, highlighted the consolidation of the Health Walk as a highly anticipated event in the local calendar. He noted that these routes are part of a project that began in April 2024 and has been very well received, fostering intergenerational participation.

To participate in this activity, prior registration is required by calling 619 58 26 50. Attendees are advised to wear comfortable clothing, bring water, a snack, and a desire to have a good time.
