The exhibition, which can be visited until next Wednesday, September 30th, is part of World Tourism Week and has been organized by the Department of Commerce and Tourism.
Through images from the past and present, the exhibition ‘Candelaria, living history’ highlights the municipality's tourist milestones, its evolution, its surroundings, its people, its traditions, and its identity.
“"Seeing images from before and now in the same space helps to understand where Candelaria comes from and why it is today a destination that captivates. Behind each photograph are people from the municipality, trades, and traditions that remain alive."
The Councillor of Commerce and Tourism, María del Carmen Clemente, encouraged residents and visitors to visit the exhibition to learn about the history and identity of Candelaria.
