Traffic Disruptions in Candelaria for the Rallye Overcame Isla Tenerife

Road closures and special access times will be implemented to facilitate resident access during the stages on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th September.

The municipality of Candelaria will experience significant traffic disruptions on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th September due to the 52nd Rallye Overcame Isla Tenerife.

The 2.140-kilometer timed stage «Shakedown» Cuesta las Tablas will affect the TF-28 road between kilometers 13.130 and 10.960. The closure will be in effect from 10:50 AM to 1:30 PM and from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Residents of Barranco Hondo and Igueste will be able to access the TF-1 motorway via the Vía del Cabildo de Tenerife and Calle Francisco Garabote García, respectively.
On Friday, September 4th, the «Tabaiba - Igueste» stage will involve the closure of the TF-28 (PK 7.490 to PK 14.690) and the TF-252 (PK 0 to PK 0.280) from 6:55 PM to 10:30 PM. Special 5-minute openings will be provided for resident access to Barranco Hondo at 8:20 PM, 8:55 PM, 9:30 PM, and 10:05 PM, with passage also permitted in case of emergency. Residents of Igueste will have normal access via La Morra María del Carmen and La Cruz Colorada.
On Saturday, September 5th, the Arafo – Los Loros stage, on the TF-523 (from kilometer point 3.730 to the junction of the TF-24 dorsal road), will be closed to traffic from 1:45 PM to 5:00 PM and from 5:15 PM to 8:15 PM.
