The police force in Candelaria has increased its resources to ensure greater safety and effectiveness during interventions. Among the new acquisitions are two TASER 10 electronic control devices, each with its holster and ten cartridges. These tools will provide the police force with additional means to handle situations requiring specific control measures.
Furthermore, Axon Body cameras have been implemented for officers. This technology will record police interventions when necessary and in accordance with current regulations, offering an objective record that enhances guarantees for both citizens and the officers themselves.
The camera system includes a charging and management base connected to a cloud platform for secure storage of recorded images, featuring mechanisms to prevent tampering and ensure the integrity of the recordings.
The acquisition of this equipment has represented an investment of over 25,000 euros.
The Mayor of Candelaria, Mari Brito, and the Councillor for Security, Francisco Alonso, have highlighted the importance of continuously equipping the Local Police with the necessary tools for their work.
