The local government has implemented this mechanism, similar to the one used in the second phase of the La Cruz Santa open commercial zone, to mitigate the economic impact of urban development projects.
The mayor of Los Realejos, Adolfo González, and the Councilor for Commerce and Local Development, Natalia Díaz, reported on the completion of the payment of these extraordinary grants.
The main objective of these subsidies is to support the continuity of the economic activity of businesses and to compensate for the impacts caused by prolonged construction.
Each self-employed individual or SME applicant received 1,500 euros, which must be justified through Social Security contributions, professional expenses such as fiscal, accounting, and labor advice, or rental expenses for the affected establishment.
