The initiative, promoted by the Health Promotion department of Granadilla de Abona, in collaboration with Red Cross, aims to raise public awareness about the importance of physical activity and disease prevention. The event will take place from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and is open to everyone.
A representative from the Health Promotion area highlighted that the initiative seeks to offer tools for a more active and healthy life, emphasizing prevention as key to improving quality of life. Family participation is encouraged to adopt beneficial habits.
The program includes a zumba session, a dance exhibition by Blu Dance Academy, and various health promotion workshops. The academy, based in San Isidro, will showcase its work in disciplines such as classical, contemporary, jazz, and flamenco dance, noting the recent recognition of students who received scholarships for a prestigious event in Italy.
The City Council invites all citizens to participate in this event focused on health, exercise, and community. For more information, the Health Promotion department can be contacted at 922 759 948.
