The initiative, led by the Youth Department, offers a variety of recreational, sports, and leisure activities for registered residents aged 12 to 30 years. Places are limited, and registration can be done through the Citizen Service Centers (SAC) or on the City Council's official website.
The Councilor for Youth, Raquel Morales Izquierdo, highlights that the program is not only an leisure opportunity but also a space to "build community and promote values such as coexistence, respect for the environment, and responsible use of free time." Morales emphasizes the importance of youth participation for a dynamic and committed society, assuring that efforts continue to expand and diversify the range of activities.
Scheduled activities include two trips to the Siam Park water park (one at night on August 6 and another during the day on August 28), paddle surfing in El Médano on August 7 and 21, and a visit to observe the Perseids meteor shower on August 13. Additionally, from September 2 to 4, there will be nautical activities such as sailing, snorkeling, and sea games. Recently, a kayak and snorkeling route in Los Gigantes was also completed.
