Arencibia begins second term leading Las Palmas football

Re-elected by the Electoral Board, José Juan Arencibia will continue at the helm of FIFLP until 2030.

José Juan Arencibia took office as president of the Interinsular Football Federation of Las Palmas (FIFLP), thus beginning his second term until 2030.

José Juan Arencibia began his second term this Thursday leading the Interinsular Football Federation of Las Palmas (FIFLP), after being re-elected by the Electoral Board. His tenure will extend until 2030, coinciding with the FIFA World Cup being hosted in Gran Canaria.
Supported by his board of directors and staff, Arencibia highlighted the "growth and consolidation" experienced in the federation's structures and projects since 2022, the start of his first term. However, he acknowledged that "there is still much work to be done."

The president-elect also expressed his gratitude for the "loyalty and professionalism" received from his management team and collaborators, which have been key elements in carrying out his work.
