The Department of Education, led by Adrián García Armas, will manage the aid, which covers 100% of the requested amount. This investment will allow for the incorporation of a Spanish guitar, percussion instruments, traverso flutes, monitors, audio equipment, and amplifiers, reinforcing and modernizing the resources for musical training and the municipality's educational projects.
The Municipal Music School, under the direction of Tito Santana, currently has 130 students and a hundred instruments and pieces of equipment. Its educational offerings, aimed at individuals aged six and above, include Music and Movement, Music Theory, instrumental training, Chamber Music, Folk Group, Modern Music, Flute Ensemble, and Percussion Ensemble.
With this new funding, Santa Brígida reaffirms its commitment to music education, expanding the resources of the Municipal Music School and facilitating access to musical practice for residents of all ages.
