CANARIAS7 has solidified its position as the leading digital media outlet in the archipelago during April, according to the latest data published by GfK DAM. The publication registered 798,075 unique users in the Canary Islands, surpassing other regional media such as El Día, Diario de Avisos, La Provincia, Atlántico Hoy, and Canarias Ahora.
Beyond reach, indicators such as visit frequency, time spent on site, and the medium's integration into readers' daily information routine are crucial. The April 2026 data specifically analyzes digital consumption within the Canary Islands, reflecting the relationship media outlets have with their readers.
In this regard, CANARIAS7 also leads in page views, with over 15 million (15,132,797), nearly double that of the second-ranked regional media. Furthermore, it achieved an average daily audience of 142,053 readers in the Canary Islands, a significantly higher figure than its direct competitors.
This leadership in average daily audience is maintained even against national publications like El Español (130,718 daily users in the Canary Islands), El Mundo (111,237), and El País (106,148), underscoring CANARIAS7's central role in the archipelago's daily information consumption.
GfK data also highlights the high level of audience loyalty for CANARIAS7, which leads among Canary Islands media in average time spent per unique user, at 17 minutes and 15 seconds. This metric ranks among the best for national generalist press.
On a national level, the newspaper also maintains a prominent position among Spanish regional media, exceeding 1.3 million unique users and approaching 18.5 million page views in April.
These results reinforce CANARIAS7's digital strategy, focused on proximity journalism, public service information, and a constant commitment to editorial and technological innovation.
