Correos is joining the extraordinary administrative regularization process for migrants, enabling 371 offices across Spain, including several in the Canary Islands, for in-person application submissions starting April 20.

This initiative follows the implementation of the new Royal Decree 316/20226, of April 14, approved by the Government, which amends the Immigration Regulations. The process is aimed at individuals in irregular administrative situations and asylum seekers who have resided in Spain since before January 1, 2026, and have remained continuously for at least five months.
To submit an application at Correos offices, it is essential to obtain a prior appointment online. This can be done through the website of the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration or by calling 060, starting Thursday, April 16. Once the appointment is confirmed, interested parties can submit their application and required documentation at the designated offices.
The selection of participating Correos offices has been coordinated with the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, taking into account estimated application volumes and immigration needs in each province. Approximately 1,000 Correos professionals have received specific training for this process, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to manage applications, including representing the migrant.

"It reaffirms the importance of the Correos network as a state instrument that facilitates and provides solutions in the execution of high-impact policies of extraordinary value to society, because thanks to this process, a reality is recognized: the need to provide peace of mind, a dignified life, and security to immigrant workers who already reside in Spain and contribute enormous economic and cultural vitality to the country."

Pedro Saura · President of Correos
This process is part of the Services of General Economic Interest (SIEG) assigned to Correos, following the amendment of Postal Law 43/2010 approved by Congress in July 2025. By providing these services, the postal company reinforces its public mission and contributes to territorial, economic, and social cohesion, as well as sustainability and public welfare.
In the Canary Islands, the enabled offices include several in the Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, such as Adeje, Costa del Silencio, El Médano, Los Cristianos, La Laguna, San Isidro, San Sebastián de la Gomera, Santa Cruz de la Palma, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and Valverde. In the Province of Las Palmas, offices are located in Arrecife, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Maspalomas, Puerto del Rosario, Telde, and Vecindario, each with specific operating hours.
