The Specialized and Violent Crime Unit (UDEV) of the Telde Police Station has resolved the assault registered at a jewelry establishment in the Las Terrazas shopping center. The investigation, which remains open, has led to the identification of all alleged those involved.
The incident occurred when six individuals violently stormed the store, intimidating those present to steal numerous jewelry pieces valued at over 120,000 euros.
The police investigation included the analysis of surveillance footage from nearby businesses, on-site inspections, and witness statements. Thanks to this tracking, officers identified the perpetrators who carried out the assault inside the premises, as well as collaborators involved in the planning, logistics, and preparation of the heist.
Four people were arrested during the operation. Additionally, two alleged perpetrators already in prison for similar offenses were identified. After being brought before judicial authority, one of the arrested individuals was ordered to prison, while the other three were released provisionally with precautionary measures.
The National Police maintains an active search for the sixth member of the gang, whose identity has been fully confirmed by investigators.
