The solidarity evening, jointly organized by the Rotary Club and the Inter-Island Football Federation of Las Palmas (FIFLP), took place last Friday at the emblematic Jardines de la Marquesa de Arucas. The gathering brought together prominent figures from the business, social, and sports sectors of the island.
The funds raised will be entirely allocated to the maintenance and development of programs that Ronald McDonald House Charities promotes to provide support to families whose children require hospitalization, offering them free accommodation and companionship.
“"Collective solidarity and the fundamental role of the Canarian community are essential to create spaces of support and hope."
The Charity, with over 25 years of experience in Spain, helps families stay together while their children receive medical treatment away from home. This event reinforces its commitment to continue expanding its support network.
The organization expressed gratitude for the involvement of all collaborators and attendees, emphasizing that the success of this first edition opens the door for future solidarity initiatives in the Canary Islands.
