Paris Saint-Germain's Georgian forward, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, has been awarded the best player of the 2025/2026 Champions League season. The Parisian club secured their second consecutive title in the competition.

Kvaratskhelia played a fundamental role in winning the championship, scoring ten goals and providing six assists throughout the tournament. His contribution was decisive, particularly in the final against Arsenal, where a foul committed on him by Cristian Mosquera led to a penalty converted by Ousmane Dembélé, leveling the score at 1-1.

The Georgian player also shone in the semi-final victory against Bayern, scoring a goal to equalize and another to complete a brace.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid's Turkish midfielder, Arda Güler, has been named the revelation player of the season by UEFA's Technical Observers Panel. This award recognizes young talents who make a significant breakthrough in the competition.

The UEFA Technical Observers Panel highlighted that the 21-year-old player made a significant leap in quality, going from starting in one match the previous season to playing 14 games, starting in 13 of them. UEFA created this award to acknowledge the outstanding progress of young players during a specific campaign.
