Las Palmas C Debuts with Victory Against Debutant Sotavento

Las Palmas C began the season with an away victory, defeating debutant UD Playas de Sotavento 0-2 at the Municipal de Morrojable.

The reserve team of Las Palmas C debuted in the league with a win against the Majorero side, who had numerous opportunities to score, including a penalty in the final minutes. Goals from Gabri Camacho (34') and Oriol (36') before halftime sealed the match for the visitors.
The match, played at the Municipal de Morrojable with around 200 spectators, was characterized by direct play and chances at both ends. Sotavento had clear opportunities, with shots that were saved by goalkeeper Alberto Santana or hit the woodwork, in addition to missing a penalty.

In the second half, the home team attempted a comeback, but Las Palmas C defended solidly. Goalkeeper Alberto Santana was key, saving a free-kick and stopping the penalty in the 88th minute. Sotavento also hit the post on another occasion.
