The Gran Canaria team could not confirm their place in the promotion playoffs to the First Division after failing to secure more than a draw against a already relegated Real Zaragoza. In the second half, Zaragoza reacted and, taking advantage of Las Palmas' complacency, managed to equalize in the 73rd minute with a shot from Marcos Cuenca after a run. The Aragonese team dominated the final stretch, even having a very clear chance with an open goal that they failed to convert.

With this draw, Real Zaragoza ends its history in the category, confirming a relegation that represents one of the toughest episodes in its 94-year existence. UD Las Palmas, on the other hand, will have to fight for its future on the final matchday.
