The Department of Public Works has announced new traffic diversions at the entrance to Arucas, Gran Canaria, starting next Monday, due to the ongoing ring road construction, impacting access to Santidad.

The construction of the Arucas ring road, located in Gran Canaria, necessitates the implementation of new traffic diversions at the roundabout providing access to the town center, specifically in the Cruz Roja area. This measure has been officially communicated by the Department of Public Works.
Effective Monday, April 20, the exit ramp from Santidad, originating from the GC-300 and heading towards the GC-20, will be closed. This closure will interrupt both entry and exit to Santidad from the GC-20 throughout the duration of this phase of the works.
To ensure continued traffic flow and citizen mobility, alternative routes have been established. The primary suggested itineraries include utilizing the GC-300 as an access and exit route, as well as the GC-43, known as the Visvique road, and the GC-301, which corresponds to the Tenoya road.
The estimated duration for these diversions is 25 days. However, this timeframe may be adjusted depending on the progress and development of the construction work.
