The works, which will focus on the intersection of Numancia Street with Pavía Street, are part of the routine maintenance and optimization efforts for the city's hydraulic infrastructure. The main objective is to ensure the proper functioning of the network and prevent future incidents in the service.
According to Emalsa's forecasts, the intervention will last for several days, with an estimated completion date of Wednesday, April 15. During this period, diversions will be implemented to ensure smooth traffic flow in the affected area.
For the proper execution of the works, it will be necessary to close Numancia Street to traffic at the height of Párroco Francisco Rodríguez Street, which will also serve as the alternative route for traffic diversion. Additionally, Covadonga Street will also be closed at its intersection with Secretario Padilla to prevent vehicle access to the work zone.
The company has assured that, in coordination with the Local Police, all necessary measures will be taken to minimize inconvenience to residents and drivers. This will include adequate signage for diversions and efficient traffic organization around the construction site.
It is important to note that, as these are improvements to the sewer system, this intervention will not affect the water supply. Residents in the area will not experience service interruptions during the construction period.
