The Spanish national team begins its journey in the 2026 FIFA World Cup with two of its key players sporting specially designed footwear. Adidas has created unique versions of the 'Road to Glory' pack for the Canarian player Pedri and Lamine Yamal, integrating elements that reflect their identities.
For Pedri, the boots include the word 'Familia' (Family), the flag of the Canary Islands, and a drawing of a banana, an iconic symbol of the archipelago, as a tribute to his homeland on the biggest football stage.
Meanwhile, Lamine Yamal has incorporated his name alongside the flags of Morocco and Equatorial Guinea, in recognition of his family ties.
These designs, developed in Germany, will accompany both footballers throughout the initial phase of the tournament.
