The municipal program ‘Súbete a la Ola de la Vida 2026’ continues its tour through the municipality of Telde this Saturday, September 5th, with a day of family leisure in Casas Nuevas. The Plaza de Gran Canaria will be the setting for this initiative aimed at fostering coexistence among young and old.
Promoted by the Youth Department of the Telde City Council, the activity will begin at 11:00 AM with the opening of inflatable water castles, available until 1:00 PM. Subsequently, at 12:00 PM, a family show designed for the enjoyment of the entire community will be offered.
This proposal is part of the ‘Súbete a la Ola de la Vida’ program, which throughout the summer has brought cultural, youth, musical, and family activities to various neighborhoods and coastal areas of the municipality, promoting a decentralized and accessible offering.
“"One of the objectives of this program is precisely to bring activities to different corners of the city and create spaces where families can meet and enjoy free proposals close to their homes."
The Mayor of Telde, Juan Antonio Peña, highlighted that the initiative aims to bring leisure activities to the neighborhoods, especially designed for children and families. For his part, the Councilor for Youth, Cristhian Santana, noted that the program continues to advance, offering activities for all ages and revitalizing neighborhoods during the final weeks of summer.
The event in Casas Nuevas will continue a program that will take place in other locations in Telde, maintaining the spirit of bringing leisure, culture, and coexistence closer to the citizens.
