The tribute recognized their conquest of the Spanish Women's Handball Super Cup, adding this title to their Liga Guerreras Iberdrola championship won in May.
The event, presided over by the mayor of Telde, Juan Antonio Peña, was attended by the Municipal Corporation and representatives from various political groups. All extended their congratulations to the team for an achievement that elevates Telde's name in national handball.

For his part, the Councilor for Physical Activity and Sports, Cristhian Santana, expressed Telde's pride in celebrating another title of this magnitude. "Rocasa Gran Canaria once again demonstrates why it is one of the great references in Teldense sport," he noted, emphasizing how their effort and competitiveness bring enjoyment and project the city's name nationwide.
Santana also valued the work of the players, coaching staff, board of directors, and everyone involved in the project, reaffirming the City Council's commitment to continue supporting the club.
The Municipal Corporation extended its congratulations to the entire Rocasa Gran Canaria family, recognizing that this triumph enhances the entity's record and solidifies Telde as a city of high-level sport.
