The Department of Physical Activity and Sports of the Telde City Council has awarded a supply service for municipal sports facilities for €14,932.63, addressing a need after more than six years without a contract.

The investment will provide nets for football 11, football 7, and handball goals, as well as corner flags. These items are crucial for the proper functioning of sports venues, user safety, and the adequate development of training sessions and official competitions.
The action responds to the high daily attendance of athletes and the municipal responsibility to maintain spaces in optimal conditions. The lack of a specific contract had previously prevented adequate coverage of these needs.
This investment also aims to prevent the suspension of competitions, avoid potential sanctions for clubs due to incomplete regulatory equipment, and reduce the risk of incidents arising from the use of inadequately equipped facilities.

"With this award, we are responding to a long-standing demand from our clubs, ensuring safe facilities in adequate conditions. It was essential to regularize this situation after years without a contract, and we are doing so with responsible management that prioritizes safety and the quality of public sports services."
