The robbery, which occurred with a bladed weapon in the early hours of July 13, took place near a veterinary clinic. Units from the Citizen Assistance Group (GAC) were dispatched to the scene after receiving the alert from the CIMACC 091 control room.
Upon arrival, officers interviewed the victim, a hospitality worker, who reported that three men surprised him at the end of his shift. They violently assaulted him and intimidated him with what appeared to be large knives, managing to steal a shoulder bag containing personal documents and 450 euros in cash.
Health services attended to the victim at the scene. Subsequently, officers located two witnesses who had observed the robbery and stated that the assailants also attempted to steal their mobile phones through intimidation, but were unsuccessful.
Based on the physical and clothing descriptions of the suspects, as well as their escape route, a search operation was immediately established. A few minutes later, three individuals were located whose characteristics fully matched those provided.
Upon noticing the police presence, the individuals fled on foot, initiating a chase that led officers to a residential building in the La Paterna area, where they were finally arrested.
During the inspection of the building, various items of clothing allegedly used in the commission of the crime were recovered, along with a box cutter and a large sharp object compatible with the weapons described by the victims.
After completing the police proceedings, the detainees have been handed over to the competent judicial authority.
