The firm is demanding payment of 689,092.66 euros, an amount recognized by a final court ruling corresponding to the public service deficit for the years 2021, 2022, and 2023. Although the Telde City Council completed the necessary administrative procedures, the payment has not been made.
The budget modification file to settle this debt was initially approved by the Municipal Plenary on May 15, 2026. After the public exhibition period ended on June 10, the company reports that it has not received any funds, leading to the exhaustion of its financial capacity.
The company's management emphasized that this measure is not voluntary, but a result of the material impossibility of continuing to fund a public service whose costs should be covered by the administration. To date, the service has been maintained normally to avoid inconveniencing users.
